33 crore suffer from drought, thousands migrating, but Parliament is still silent

New Delhi: 33 crore people of the country are grappling with severe drought. Despite knowing the fact, country’s Parliament is tight-lipped. ABP News wonders why Parliament is mum on such a crisis. Continuing our investigation in the plight of people, ABP News correspondents Umesh Kumawat and Pankaj Jha travelled to these areas. They found out that people are migrating from these areas in huge numbers. We travelled in Maharashtra’s Marathwada area, UP’s Bundelkhand, Karnataka and Telangana. Due to lack of water, thousands are leaving their houses in search of jobs and water. The question remains, why is Parliament silent on such an important subject?
