Congress To Stage 'Satyagrah' When Rahul Gandhi Appears Before ED

Congress will hold a nationwide protest march on Monday on the issue of Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons issued to party president Sonia Gandhi and senior leader Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is to appear before the ED on Monday, June 13, in the money laundering case related to the National Herald. 

Congress is preparing to hold a protest against the central government on June 13 across the country. According to party sources, Congress has asked its MPs to remain present in Delhi on the morning of June 13.

"Congress leaders will sit in 'satyagraha' in front of all ED offices across India against the misuse of ED by PM Modi," PTI quoted a senior party leader a saying.

Prophet Remark Row: Bhiwandi Police Summons Nupur Sharma On Monday

Maharashtra's Bhiwandi Police has summoned suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma to record her statement on Monday in connection with her alleged objectionable remarks against Prophet Mohammad. Besides this, expelled BJP functionary Naveen Kumar Jindal has also been asked by Thane district's Bhiwandi police to record his statement on June 15 over the alleged controversial tweet against Prophet Mohammad, Senior Police Inspector Chetan Kakade told reporters.
