2018 Honda Amaze Goes Past 10K Sales In July

The second-gen Honda Amaze has become a runaway success for Honda Cars India. The new compact sedan has maintained an upward trajectory for its monthly sales since its launch in May 2018. After recording sales of 9k units in May and June 2018, Honda has retailed over 10K units of the new Amaze in July 2018.

This is for the first time, a Honda offering has crossed the 10K monthly sales mark in the country. It continues to be the bestseller in the Japanese automaker’s India lineup. The new Amaze was offered at introductory prices until now but has witnessed a price hike starting from 1 August 2018.

With an average sales of around 9K units monthly, the 2018 Honda Amaze is the second bestseller in the compact sedan segment. The undisputed Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which averages over 20K monthly sales continues to rule the roost in the segment.
