Know the recipe of crunchy rice crisps.
Ingredients for Rice crisp
- 1 Cup Rice Flour
- 3 tbsp maida
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp red chilli
- salt to taste
- Oil to fry
Rice Crisp Recipe
- To make dough, firstly take 1 cup of water and heat it.
- Add cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon of oil and salt to water and heat till it comes to a boil.
- Now switch off the gas and add 1 cup of rice flour to water and mix well.
- Cover the mixture and leave it for 5 minutes. Rice flour will absorb all the water and plump up.
- Now add red chili powder and little kasuri methi crushed with hands.
- As long as the mixture is warm, keep on adding little oil and knead well into a dough
- Rice flour is ready. Now pinch small balls from the dough.
- Now sprinkle dry flour on all the balls and roll it out thinly in a circular shape.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry all the crisps one by one until crispy. While frying, keep the flame medium high.
- When all the crisps are fried, sprinkle a little chaat masala (spice mix) over it. Crunchy rice crisps are ready.
- After cooling, store them in an air tight container.
- You can enjoy these crunchy rice crisps with a steaming cup of 'chai'
