Jungkook Shares Secret Recipe Of Perilla Oil Makguksu With BTS Army. Details Inside

The BTS Army couldn't keep calm after Jeon Jungkook reveals his secret recipe for perilla oil makguksu. Read on to know the recipe for Korean buckwheat noodles as well as viral videos.

The golden maknae of BTS Jeon Jungkook appeared LIVE late last night to cook his special 'perilla oil makguksu' as fans, or BTS Army, happily and willingly disrupted their sleep schedule once more to be treated to his secret recipe of perilla oil makguksu. Perilla oil makguksu is a cold buckwheat noodle dish with vegetables and a perilla oil dressing. As promised during the LIVE stream, Jungkook later posted the "recipe for toasty buldak mayo perilla oil makguksu" on his Weverse account.

Jungkook is well-known throughout the world for his talent as a singer, dancer, and rapper, but he has also demonstrated his culinary skills and shared some of his dishes on BTS's variety show "Run BTS!" where his cooking skills impressed not only his fans but also his fellow BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V, who praised his dishes on the show. He impressed his fans yet again with his cooking skills during the recent Weverse LIVE, leaving them hungry and wanting more.

However, Jungkook shared not only visuals of how to make Korean ramen in his LIVE but also his secret recipe with all the steps to make the buckwheat noodle dish, as promised. Check out the recipe below and then come back and thank us later.

Ingredients:

Perilla oil 4 (cold pressed, pure perilla oil).

Cham sauce 2 (lighter and slightly sweeter than soy sauce)

The Buldak sauce

1 buldak mayonnaise

1 egg yolk 1 (and remove any stringy bits!)

Method:

When asked how to make it, 'chef' Jungkook said, "So mix all of that together and your sauce is complete. If you're making a larger portion, multiply all of that by two and it'll be fine. Boil as many buckwheat noodles as you want to eat, then rinse with cold water to remove the starch and toss the noodles to drain thoroughly. Pour as much sauce as you want over the noodles and top with seaweed flakes. I'm not talking about regular dried seaweed flakes here; I'm talking about seasoned ones!!! So you add the flakes and that's iiiiiiiit! (sic)."

"I'm sleepy now byeee (sic)" the 25-year-old superstar concluded his post. But the foodie in us can't wait to try our hands on this delectable recipe. So, how about you?
