Ganesh Utsav 2021: Ganeshotsav, a festival for worshipping Lord Ganesha began on Ganesh Chaturthi. According to the Hindu Calendar, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 is the ninth date of Shukla Paksha in Bhadrapada month. This day is considered highly auspicious for worshipping Lord Ganesha.
Wednesday is considered to be the most auspicious day for worshipping Lord Ganesha. According to the Hindu Calendar, this day is a combination of 'Navami' and 'Dashmi' which is considered to be a special date. On September 15, the date of 'Navami' will last till 11.19 am. This would be followed by beginning of 'Dashmi'. The date of Navami and Dashmi is considered to be extremely auspicious for religious activities.
