After Kochi, now a public fridge installed in Delhi to help the poor
In this hot summer, the whole of Delhi is trying to stay under shade and hydrated.
However, a church in Janakpuri is trying to help the needy. The Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church, under the initiative called 'Share N Care', has opened up a public refrigerator for those who cannot afford to hydrate themselves in this souring temperature.
According to a post by Jiji K Ninan on Facebook, the fridge will keep food and water to help the poor.

"The aim is to serve food, fruits and water to poor and needy at any time they need. This is a new initiative and the OCYM Janakpuri unit has taken responsibility to run this project smoothly during summer time", Ninan wrote on his post.
It may be recalled that a few days back in Kochi, a restaurant had opened a public refrigerator outside their premises.

However, unlike Kochi restaurant, the fridge here is kept "well in church premises" which arises a question as to how effectively the food will reach the needy?
The fridge is donated by a patron of the church.
