UP: Yogi govt to pass ordinance on Love Jihad law today
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath will chair a cabinet meeting in Lucknow today at 4:30 pm. In this meeting, the state government will pass the ordinance on the 'Love Jihad' law. This ordinance has been named Vidhi Virudh Dharmantaran-2020.
Love Jihad will be considered as an illegal conversion and there is provision for 5 to 10 years if convicted in such a case.
