Mumbai Rains: Red alert issued for next 24 hours

Mumbai has been getting heavy rains since last night, after which water-logging was seen in many areas. The heavy rains have disrupted normal life. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy rain in the next 24 hours.

Lower areas of Mumbai including Lower Parel have also been flooded. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert regarding rain.
