These Free Games Will Be Leaving PS Plus In February: Bulletstorm, Outriders, More

The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, Tales of Arise, and more free games will be unavailable from mid-February.

Games Leaving PS Plus: Sony has revealed a preliminary list of games that will soon be removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium subscription services. These titles are set to exit the catalogue in mid-February 2025, just as new games are added to the lineup. Among the most notable departures is The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, a fan-favorite RPG that has been a key offering on the platform. This removal comes as no surprise, as earlier reports hinted at its impending exit. Joining it on the list are several highly acclaimed titles, including multiple entries from the beloved Tales of the franchise.

The initial list of departing games has been compiled based on updates from the Japanese and Asian PlayStation Stores. While these changes are region-specific for now, it’s expected that the same list will apply to other regions, including North America, Europe, and the UK, when their respective stores update on January 21.

Which Games Are Leaving PS Plus In February?

Here’s the full list of games scheduled to leave PS Plus Extra and Premium:

  • The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition
  • Outriders
  • Scarlet Nexus
  • Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
  • Tales of Arise
  • Tales of Zestiria
  • Tales of Symphonia Remastered
  • Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

Fans of these titles should make the most of their time before they’re removed. Once they leave the catalogue, players will need to purchase them separately to continue playing.

January’s new additions have already started rolling out in regions such as Japan, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. For players in the Americas and Europe, including the UK, these games will become available by noon local time on January 21.

Sony has not ruled out additional removals, as the PS Store’s "Last Chance to Play" section is updated regularly. If new titles are added to this list, an announcement is likely to follow in the coming days. This ongoing rotation underscores the importance of staying up to date with PS Plus updates to avoid missing out on favourite games.
