New Delhi: TV actors and couple Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary recently announced their second pregnancy. The announcement came four months after the couple welcomed their daughter Lianna. While the news surprised everyone, many questioned Debina about having a second child so soon in ask me anything session that she held on Instagram. The actress reacted angrily to such questions and gave an apt reply.
A person wrote, "I mean you should give time to Liana little before the second child that's my opinion, btw congratulations." She replied, "Am also asking. What do people do when they have twins?" Another Instagram user asked, "Ma'am as in your first preg you face a lot of problems don't you think you should wait for at least one year for the second baby??" Debina asked, "What is your suggestion in such a situation I call miracle? ABORT?"
Earlier on Tuesday, Debina took to Instagram to make an announcement about her second pregnancy. Debina shared a picture of herself hugging Gurmeet along with their daughter, holding an ultrasound image, and wrote, “Few decisions are divinely timed and nothing can change that…this is one such blessing..coming soon to complete us.”
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Lianna, in April this year.
Debina has been open about her struggle to conceive. She revealed how she coped with endometriosis and that they had struggled to conceive a baby because of her medical condition for a very long time. She had recently opened up about the complications she faced during her first baby during an interview with Bombay Times. “The fight to become a mother lasted five years. I failed five times during the process, which included three IUIs and two IVFs. I also tried alternative therapies, like acupuncture and flower therapy. I would cry all the time because I held myself responsible for the failure,” Debina was quoted as saying by the Bombay Times.
