Mumbai: Rajan Shahi’s ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has managed to entertain the viewers with its drama-packed episodes since the past twelve years. At a time when shows go off air within six months, ‘Yeh Rishta’ has successfully completed over 3000 episodes. The daily soap has remained in headlines ever since the rumours of Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan leaving ‘YRKKH’ surfaced on the internet.
Shivangi and Mohsin have reportedly shot for their last episode for the popular show. If a recent report in an entertainment portal is to be believed, the makers have finally found the new female lead of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.
Who Will Replace Shivangi In ‘YRKKH’?
According to a report in IWMBuzz, Rajan Shahi has roped in Pranali Rathod to play the new lead in ‘Yeh Rishta’. She will replace Shivangi, who has been a part of the show since the past five years.
Pranali will be seen as Kartik and Naira’s daughter Akshara, the report in the portal added.

Pranali has featured in popular shows like ‘Barrister Babu’ and ‘Kyun Utthe Dil Chod Aye’. Her performance as Saudamini in Pravish Mishra starrer ‘Barrister Babu’ grabbed several eyeballs.
Harshad Chopda To Play Male Lead In ‘Yeh Rishta’?
Another report on IWMBuzz suggested that Harshad has been shortlisted to play the protagonist in the show. The makers are yet to confirm the development.
Harshad has worked in several shows like ‘Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil’, ‘Tere Liye’, ‘Bepannaah Pyaar’, to name a few. He has been missing from the small screens since a long time. It remains to be seen if the makers will rope him or some other actor.
