Tujhse Hai Raabta Lead QUITS Zee TV's Show, To Shoot LAST Episode On THIS Date

Tujhse Hai Raabta actress Reem Shaikh, who plays the role of Kalyani, has decided to say goodbye to the show.

New Delhi: Zee TV’s ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ has managed to win the hearts of the viewers with its drama-packed episodes. The show starring Reem Shaikh, Sehban Azim and Poorva Gokhale will complete two successful years on September 3, 2020. The makers recently introduced a five-year leap after which Kalyani (Reem) turned into an IPS officer. We have some big news for all the ardent fans of the show. The popular TV star, who became a household name after playing the role of Kalyani, is currently serving her notice period. Reem has decided to leave ‘Tujhse Ha Raabta’ due to some personal reasons. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress also wishes to explore new projects and hence, has decided to quit her show.
The talented actress, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that she felt it is the right time to challenge herself as an artist. “I have decided to move on because of some personal reasons and also because I want to explore my options. It is been a successful two years with the Tujhse Hai Raabta team and it is with a very heavy heart that I have taken this decision and I hope my fans keep supporting me. I just felt that this is the right time for me to challenge myself as an artist and experiment. I am very passionate about my work and hope good work finds me again. Nonetheless, I have been blessed with the best cast and it was not an easy decision, for sure,” Reem told IWMBuzz. The ‘Me Aajji Aur Sahib’ actress will shoot for her last episode on September 15, the report in the portal added. It remains to be seen whether the makers will replace Reem or end her character in the show.
Replacements are quite common in the TV industry and we recently witnessed two replacements in Tujhse Hai Raabta’s rival show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. She has also worked in shows like ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’, ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2’ and ‘YRKKH’, to name a few. Reem essayed the role of Malala Yousafzai in the film ‘Gul Makai’. Her chemistry with Sehban Azim in ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ is quite popular among the viewers. Fans fondly call them as ‘KalMa’ and we are sure they will be left disappointed with Reem Shaikh’s exit from the show.
