How Aditya proposed Jheel

Aditya had proposed to Jheel in January 2024 with a romantic rooftop gesture, which was shared by the actress on Instagram. In the video, her friends escorted her to the rooftop, where Aditya popped the question. Overwhelmed with emotion, Jheel said ‘yes’ and hugged Aditya, who kissed her forehead.

Later, in May, Jheel turned the tables by planning her own seaside proposal for Aditya. Kneeling down, she asked, “Hey! I know that you have been waiting for this for a while now. And will you marry me, Aditya?" Aditya, equally emotional, responded with a resounding “Yes” before they shared a kiss and a warm hug.

Jheel Mehta gained fame for her role as Sonalika Aatmaram Bhide, aka Sonu, in TMKOC. She left the show in 2012. Over the years, several other actors have also exited the sitcom, including Disha Vakani, Bhavya Gandhi, Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Raj Anadkat, Jennifer Mistry, and most recently, Kush Shah, who played Goli.
