Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have always had a great camaraderie. Most fans remember how playful things were back when they shot the romantic comedy 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' as Sameer and Sunny respectively. Akshay and Salman were supposed to come together once again for 'Bigg Boss 18' finale on Sunday, however the promotion for Akshay's upcoming film 'Sky Force' could not happen because of this reason. 

Akshay Kumar and debutante Veer Pahariya were supposed to attend the 'Bigg Boss 18' finale. However, the much-anticipated reunion never happened because of a clash of timings. 

What happened between Salman and Akshay at the Bigg Boss 18 finale?

Fans of Akshay Kumar are aware about his punctuality. A source close to the development told Hindustan Times that the Salman-Akshay reunion never happened because of Salman arriving late on the finale night shoot. 

“Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2:15pm. But Salman hadn't come by then. Akshay waited for an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 in his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show," HT quoted the source as saying, further adding that several calls were made to Akshay Kumar to return but he did not budge. 

“Akshay and Salman eventually spoke and Akshay told him that he had to leave for a prior commitment. Salman also said that he hopes to have him on the show some other time," the source further said.

Meanwhile, the 'Bigg Boss 18' grand finale with Avinash Mishra, Karanveer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, Chum Darang and Eisha Singh happened amid huge fanfare. Karanveer Mehra was announced the winner of the show when a majority opinion had suggested Vivian.
