'Splitsvilla 12' Winner Shrey Mittal Tests Positive For COVID-19; Sheen Dass, Akshay Mhatre & Other TV Celebs Pray For His Speedy Recovery

Shrey Mittal, who won Sunny Leone's reality show 'Splitsvilla 12', has tested positive for Coronavirus.

New Delhi: The number of novel Coronavirus cases is increasing with every passing day. Yesterday, we informed you that two people have been found infected with the virus on the sets of Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 12’. Now, reality TV star Shrey Mittal has tested positive for COVID-19. Shrey, who is the winner of Splitsvilla 12, took to social media to inform his fans that he is under home isolation after testing contracting the virus. Shrey said that he got himself tested for COVID-19 as he was having symptoms since the last two days. He also asked the people, who came in contact with him, to keep a track of their health. "Hello, I’ve tested as COVID positive today. I had been having symptoms since last 2 days (Monday) so I got tested. I’m now under 14 day home isolation. Whoever has come in contact with me directly or indirectly in the last 7-8 days please be careful and keep a track on your health. Something which still felt very unknown feels very personal all of a sudden," Shrey wrote.

'India Wali Maa' actors Sheen Dass, Akshay Mhatre and other TV celebs dropped comments on the post and sent their 'get well soon' messages. (Source- Instagram) Shrey Mittal won ‘Splitsvilla 12’ along with Priyamvada Kant earlier this year. The show was hosted by Sunny Leone and Rannvijay Singh.

Several TV celebs including Rajesh Kumar and Krishna Soni recently tested positive for COVID-19. The likes of Parth Samthaan, Mohena Kumari Singh, Shrenu Parikh have recovered from the virus after undergoing treatment. Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai have also recovered from COVID-19. We wish Shrey a speedy recovery.
