‘Kumkum Bhagya’ actor Arjit Taneja to be the LEAD ACTOR in 'Devanshi'

New Delhi: Each decade brings in a new trend in TV soaps. What’s popular these days is the ‘Leap’. Yes! TV shows taking leap has become an unsaid rule or a trend which is now being followed by Colors Tv show ‘Devanshi’. For the story post-leap, makers are keen on roping many popular faces of TV industry. Earlier we reported to you that Helly Shah has been approached to play the lead actress in the show. Now another popular name that we may see as lead actor is Arjit Taneja, who was last seen in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya as Purab. According to a source of Tellychakkar.com, “After an extensive hunt, the makers have finalised on Arjit. He recently did a mock shoot with Helly and if things fall in place he will be signed to play the male protagonist.” As per the report in the portal, Arjit will play the role of village boy but will have progressive thinking. He will fight against the ill practices of godwoman Kusum Sundari (Karuna Pandey). Soon will he be madly in love with Devanshi (Helly Shah). But love triange will be formed when it is revealed that Devashi’s sister also loves him. Now this new pair of Arjit Taneja and Helly Shah has got us excited. It looks like this show will surely grab eyeballs post-leap.
