'Beyhadh 2' LEAD Star To QUIT The Show Due To THIS Reason?
Popular TV show 'Beyhadh 2' stars Jennifer Winget, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry in lead roles.
New Delhi: Jennifer Winget’s ‘Beyhadh 2’ was launched last year on Sony TV with great expectations. Despite the buzz, the thriller couldn’t manage to strike a chord with the viewers. The show is facing stiff competition from Zee TV’s top-rated show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and Star Plus’ ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 9pm slot. The second season couldn’t perform well on the TRP charts.
Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that the channel will shift ‘Beyhadh 2’ to its digital platform SonyLIV. ‘Beyhadh 2’ is expected to go off air on March 13, 2020. The new episodes are expected to beam on SonyLIV.
According to a report in an entertainment portal, Jennifer Winget might quit the show. Yes, you read that right.
The actress, who plays the role of Maya in ‘Beyhadh 2’, is not pleased with the decision to shift the show to the digital space. "Winget is in no mood to continue with the show if it's going to be in only digital space. Jennifer is not comfortable playing the same character on the OTT platform as her contract was signed with the channel. Her managing team has raised her concern to the producer (Prateek Sharma) and discussions between the two parties are in progress. Let's see what happens," a source told SpotboyE. Jennifer Winget has been appreciated for playing the role a grey-shaded character in the show. It remains to be seen if the ‘Bepannaah’ actress will continue to play the female lead in the show or not.
Talking about 'Beyhadh 2', the show also features Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry. Ashish and Shivin play the respective roles of Mritunjay and Rudra in the show.View this post on Instagram
