In 'Bigg Boss' I didn't do anything to grab attention: Karan Mehra

Mumbai: The latest celebrity to get evicted from "Bigg Boss" house is Karan Mehra and the television actor says he avoided following the typical "fighting and yelling" format of the show as he didn't want to fall in eyes of his family and fans. "Celebrities didn't behave like celebrities before becoming so as we all came from normal background. We all were 'sevaks' first on the show and we have done all kind of work from cleaning to washing clothes to cooking. "I didn't follow the format of fighting and yelling. I was happy in my zone," Karan told PTI. When asked if he would like to be part of the show again, Karan said he didn't know if had the wish to do so. The actor said he wanted to be as normal as possible and not create drama. Like others, Karan had also thought that the reality show was scripted, but said it was not so. "I knew what I was going to be on the show like. I was inside for 35 days on the show I did not want to be. I did not want to fall in eyes of my family and fans. I wanted to make everyone proud. I didn't want to do anything to grab attention. I have no regrets. No hard feelings towards anyone," he said. Karan, who shot to fame as Natik from "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", is the first celebrity contestant to be evicted from the show. "I have no regrets coming out of the house. I am happy to be out of the show early as I was missing my wife. I am disappointed that my fans are disheartened with my eviction," Karan said. "My idea was to be just myself and not be someone what people expect you to be. I didn't create unnecessary drama or yelled or created a situation to grab eyeballs. Whatever negative things were happening inside the house did not affect me. I was happy in my zone. I went with respect and came out of the house with respect." According to Karan, his journey on the show was fun-filled and full of emotions. He is glad to survive for 35 days and stayed calm during tense situations. Karan said he would be rooting for Rohan Mehra and Gaurav Chopra. "I made some friends for life like Gaurav Chopra, Bani, Rohan Mehra. I will be rooting for Rohan and Gaurav.
