Television actor Dipika Kakar’s husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, shared a health update on Wednesday through his YouTube channel. He revealed that Dipika hasn’t been doing well. After announcing her upcoming tumour surgery, she began the process of weaning their son, Ruhaan, to prepare for the time she’d be away. However, during this transition, Dipika developed severe pain, which led to a viral infection that soon escalated into the flu.

Dipika Kakar's tumour surgery

In his latest YouTube vlog, actor Shoaib Ibrahim opened up about what he called the toughest phase of his wife Dipika Kakar’s life. He revealed that Dipika has been diagnosed with a tumour the size of a tennis ball in her liver.

Shoaib shared that despite trying everything to bring down her high fever, it wouldn’t subside. This led to her being rushed to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, where she was treated for a viral flu. Due to the infection, doctors had to postpone her scheduled scans and surgery.

Earlier this month, Shoaib had spoken about Dipika’s persistent stomach pain. At first, doctors suspected an infection and prescribed medication, but when the pain worsened, further tests were done, revealing the tumour.
