Cops found these items when they entered Pratyusha Banerjee's flat after her death

New Delhi: Pratyusha Banerjee’s death has brought in many angles that are different from others. With the kind of evidences that the police has found and the versions that the friends and relatives have given, it is difficult to say what has been the exact cause of Pratyusha’s death. After Pratyusha’s death, when the police entered Pratyusha’s Goregaon apartment on Sunday, the police found a lot of stench and clutter and that said how the actress had spent her last few days before committing suicide. According to a report in Mid Day, the police when entered Pratyusha’s flat they found clothes in disarray on the floor, liquor bottles and cigarette butts strewn around and half-eaten packets of snacks lying around. They could not find Pratyusha’s suicide note. This gave a clear indication that Pratyusha was depressed. Pratyusha shared the 2 BHK flat with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh at Harmony building. As per the report, the team of cops and forensic experts tried to reconstruct the entire suicide at flat number 703 with the manner in which she hanged herself. ‘The apartment had no AC but there were two fans in the 10x15 hall, and Pratyusha was found hanging from the one closest to the door. The room had a wall-mounted TV and a showcase with the many awards Pratyusha had won, which was probably among the last things she saw. There was also a three-plus-one sofa set. Prima facie, it seems the actress (famed for her role as Anandi in Balika Vadhu) used the one-seater to get closer to the ceiling fan. The blades of the fan were found intact so it is thought that she might then have tied her dupatta to the middle of the fan and looped the other end around her neck. Sources privy to the investigation that were there at the crime scene reconstruction said Pratyusha might have stood on the edge of the sofa before she jumped and hanged herself,’ the report said. The cops examined if a suicide in this set up was possible and thus they collectively found out that it was a possible thing and it can be a clear case of suicide. The cops also tried to find more clues from houses opposite the apartment but found out that the flat faced an open ground only. The police now awaits the call details of Pratyusha and Rahul’s phone and they are trying to find out whether Rahul was correct in saying that he called Pratyusha from outside.
