‘Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara’ was launched with several expectations on December 3 on Colors TV. The show replaced Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda starrer ‘Bepannaah’ but it failed to set the TRP charts on fire. The show faces stiff competition from ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ and ‘Aapke Aa Jane Se’. The supernatural show recently grabbed headlines when the actors Shakti Anand and Falaq Naaz were ousted without prior information. Both Shakti and Falaq had expressed their displeasure over their sudden exit from the show. Read- Characters of Shakti Anand & Falaq Naaz axed overnight from 'Sitara'! Speculations are also rife that ‘Sitara’ will soon go off air as the channel has few new shows in pipeline. Colors TV head earlier pulled the plug on ‘Tantra’ and ‘Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’ will also bid adieu to the viewers next month. Watch this space for more updates!
