A clip of Pallavi has been going viral on social media from a Film Companion where we see Pallavi talk about doing films without makeup. In the interview, we see Anupama Chopra ask Sai Pallavi where she got the confidence to do full-fledged films without makeup.
Why Sai Pallavi does not use makeup?
When Anupama asked how Sai manages her look in this day and age, Sai said that it was perhaps because of the person she is. "I don't know what the other side might be. I am not saying makeup doesn't help but if it makes you feel confident then you should do it. I feel confident this way and I think I am doing fine."
Sai also added, "In cinema at least, you don't need to have a very different attire or hairdo, it does help but how well-written a character is will show you in a very different shade. You look different from film to film but you have pretty much the same character traits, I dont know of the difference is loud but if your character is well-written, you look different in the film and you have the opportunity to bring out different emotions which make you look like a different person.
