Nayanthara and Dhanush avoid each other
A video shared on Instagram by Nayanthara’s security team captured her arriving at the wedding in a graceful pink saree, her hair styled in a neat bun. She was accompanied by her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, who donned a traditional white veshti. The couple mingled with other guests and posed for pictures before taking their seats in the front row. Moments later, the camera panned to show Dhanush seated on the opposite side of the aisle, notably keeping his distance.

About Nayanthara and Dhanush dispute
The feud between the two actors stems from 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale', a Netflix documentary chronicling the actor’s life. In an open letter posted on Instagram, Nayanthara accused Dhanush of refusing to provide a no-objection certificate (NOC) for using footage from ‘Naanum Rowdy’ Dhaan, a film directed by Vignesh Shivan where the couple first met. She also alleged that Dhanush had filed a ₹10 crore lawsuit over the inclusion of a three-second behind-the-scenes clip in the documentary’s trailer.
Dhanush's father reacted to Nayanthara's claims
While Dhanush has remained silent on the matter, his father, Kasthuri Raja, addressed the controversy in an interview with Tamil Samayam. “Work is important to us. We are moving forward. We don’t have time to answer those who chase us or talk behind our backs. Much like me, my son is focused only on his work,” he said, declining to comment on claims that Nayanthara waited two years for the NOC.
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander and several other celebrities also attended the wedding.
