New Delhi: Just a few hours after its theatrical release, the much-awaited Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Leo’ has been leaked online in high-quality on torrent websites. On Thursday morning, trade analyst Manobala Vijayanabalan took to X formerly known as Twitter to share the news that ‘Leo’ has been leaked and is available in high quality on torrent websites. “Leo’ High Quality Print LEAKED online, SHOCKING” he wrote.

After the film leaked several fans responded to the trade analyst's post and called on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to take action. 

One fan wrote, “It’s barely opened, and already #LeoFilm has been leaked! This is really shocking!” Another fan shared, “This shouldn’t happen to any movie. It’s a huge loss to the creator of the movie if it gets leaked online.”

Another user also called on the authorities to arrest the culprit.

'Leo' is also available on torrent site Tamil Rockers.

Apart from’ Leo’, there are several other released movies and series that have also become victims of online piracy. 

It includes ‘Dhak Dhak’, ‘Fair Play’, ‘Kaala Paani’, ‘Mansion 24’, and many more following the leak of ‘Leo’’movie fight scene, Block X (an organization devoted to protecting creators and content creators’ work) released a statement asking the audience to “reject piracy.”

Talking about the film ‘ Leo’ is an action thriller film that has been released today worldwide in four languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. 

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy The film also stars Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. 

The film also features Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The film is getting an overwhelming response from the audience after its release. 

‘Leo’ also marks Lokesh Kanagraj and Vijay’s second collaboration after ‘Master’ in 2021.

'Leo' has been released worldwide on over 20,000 screens, making it one of the widest releases for a Tamil film.
