Maghi Purnima Maha Snan: Devotees Face Challenges, But Security and Arrangements in Full Gear | ABP NEWS
During the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, elderly and sick devotees are finding it difficult to walk, and to provide relief, they are being offered transportation on carts. Various stalls have been set up across the city to offer free food and tea to the devotees. People are participating in these community meals in large numbers, showing their faith and devotion. After the main ritual baths, the Maghi Purnima bath is taking place for the first time following major events such as Makar Sankranti and Basant Panchami. Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated all the devotees and saints present. To ensure safety, stringent security arrangements have been put in place, and CM Yogi is personally monitoring the situation. Efforts to maintain cleanliness are in full force, with only purified water being allowed to flow into the Ganga. In addition, special trains are running from all railway stations, including Prayagraj Junction, to accommodate the massive influx of pilgrims. On the auspicious occasion of Maghi Purnima, large crowds can also be seen at Haridwar, where people are taking a holy dip in the Ganga and receiving blessings from the saints.
