Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar is back with a bang in 'Good Bad Ugly', which has opened to an explosive box office response, both in India and internationally. Despite taking a step back from frequent film projects to focus on his GP racing career, Ajith has proven his star power remains undiminished.

The year 2025 has started strong for the actor, as 'Good Bad Ugly' has delivered his biggest-ever opening, crossing the ₹50 crore mark globally on Day 1.

According to Sacnilk.com, the film registered an estimated ₹28.50 crore net in India on its first day. Meanwhile, the production house Mythri Movie Makers confirmed that the film opened at £100K (₹1+ crore) in the UK alone. Additional reports suggest the film may have earned ₹18–20 crore overseas, taking the Day 1 worldwide total to ₹50–51 crore.

A New Milestone for Ajith Kumar

With this, 'Good Bad Ugly' has become Ajith Kumar’s highest-grossing opener. His previous record was set by 'Valimai', which had a worldwide opening of ₹47 crore. The new release has surpassed that benchmark, setting the stage for a phenomenal run at the box office.
