Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani's Wedding Song , Reworked Version Of 'Ranjha', Releases On YouTube

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's wedding song - a reworked version of the popular song ‘Ranjha’ from their movie Shershaah - is out on YouTue now.

New Delhi: Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot on February 7 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Soon after their wedding, the couple shared a video from their wedding in which Kiara was walking down the aisle while Sidharth was waiting for her. What caught everyone’s attention apart from the beautiful couple, dreamy location, and décor was the background song – a reworked version of the popular song ‘Ranjha’ from their movie Shershaah.

The song, whose lyrics were altered to fit the wedding, is now available on YouTube. The song was released with a caption on YouTube that read, “From the moment they were reel-life lovebirds on Shershaah, Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra redefined chemistry. From that to making Ranjha their wedding song, the couple has surpassed couple goals and truly showed what “Ranjha” stands for.”

The new version of the song has been composed and arranged by - The Wedding Filmer, Kingshuk Chakravarty, Mayank Choudhary. Prerna Arora, Ashwani Basoya have given their vocals and Shraddha Sehgal has written the lyrics.

Earlier, The Wedding Filmer, who shot the wedding and created this version for Sid, Kiara, had penned the story behind the song on their Instagram account. While sharing the video from the couple’s wedding, The Wedding Filmer wrote, “Very few humans are so generous with their love that they are willing to share it with the world. She wanted to walk towards Sidharth on ‘Ranjha’, which is their song. “But it’s a sad song!” I argued. “But it’s our song!” She maintained! So we rewrote the lyrics with respect to fit the situation we were in, and suddenly, everyone’s dreams came true! #twfclassics #theweddingfilmer #twfmusic
