'Kangan Ruby' is a different kind of party track that has a slow beat.

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Raksha Bandhan's second song has been released. Titled 'Kangan Ruby' the song features the lead cast of the film grooving to the track sung by Himesh Reshammiya. It's been a long time since we heard Himesh's voice for such a track.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the new track on his official Twitter handle and worte, "AKSHAY KUMAR: 'RAKSHA BANDHAN' SECOND SONG... #AkshayKumar and #HimeshReshammiya have collaborated on some great melodies in the past... New song from #RakshaBandhan - #KanganRuby - is yet another winsome track..."

Akshay Kumar also shared the 'Kangan Ruby' song on his official Instagram handle and wrote, "Hawa mein ghula hai pyaar ka rang, ruby wale kangan ke sang! ❤️#KanganRuby is out, tune in now."

'Kangan Ruby' is a different kind of party track that has a slow beat.

With 'Raksha Bandhan' Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are reuniting for the second time. While Akshay has worked in a small role in Aanand L Rai's 'Atrangi Re', he will be doing a full-fledged film with the director as lead for the first time.

'Raksha Bandhan' talks about the bond between a brother and 4 sisters and how getting them married falls on the shoulders of a brother who single-handedly arranges that to happen.

The film will release on Rakhi August 11, 2022 and is expected to bring in some good box office business after the failure of Akshay's epic period drama 'Samrat Prithviraj'.
