The clash between 'The Traitors' contestants Uorfi Javed and Sufi Motiwala escalated further this week, with Uorfi firing back at Sufi’s latest accusations and calling out what she described as his “victim narrative.”
On Tuesday, Sufi shared a lengthy note expressing his frustration with Uorfi, stating he was “sick” of what he called her “stupid narrative” and that he no longer wished to be part of it. Uorfi, known for her outspoken persona, responded through a series of Instagram Stories, slamming Sufi for what she said was verbal abuse on national television.
Uorfi responds to Sufi Motiwala's post
"Gaali dete time ye log bhool jaate hai (These people forget while abusing) open your mouth and tell the world how I gave quotes to a magazine after you messaged me k ‘Orry k lade me ghus ja’. I kept deleting cause we belong to the same agency and they messaged me saying how you're having a panic attack so I was just being nice. And my sister has her own voice, she can say whatever she wants. Stop victimising yourself when you're the one who is abusing me on national television calling me m*****d s**li', Ye aadmi poori duniya ko bole, judge kare, gaali de, koi inhe palat k bol de to problem hai (When someone gives it back to the same person who is abusing, judging then its a problem)!”
In another Story, Uorfi explained that although her sister defended her, she herself refrained from lashing out.
"I wasn't even saying anything but my sister has her own voice and can voice her own opinions. Bolne ko toh badle mein 4 gaali de deti (She also could have hurled abuses) after hearing what you say the stuff you've said about me but I was quiet only posted a meme. Chalo victimisation ki baat karte hai (Let's talk about victimisation), do you even know how many times I've been slut shamed, abused and trolled, you're not the only one. I can post 10000 msgs and screenshots where people have abused me, threatened to rape me, kill me and my family. But I don't play the victim card.”
Uorfi also took issue with Sufi’s repeated mention of being the “youngest” contestant on the show. She questioned his intentions and called out what she saw as hypocrisy in his behavior.
In her posts, Uorfi accused Sufi of not only targeting her but also dragging others like Raftaar into his issues. She claimed that if age was a concern, he should not have signed up for a high-pressure reality show in the first place.
The conflict on The Traitors
Uorfi and Sufi are both currently featured in the Indian edition of Prime Video’s reality show 'The Traitors', where tensions have been simmering. In a recent episode, Sufi was seen verbally abusing Uorfi in a separate room and later doubled down by vowing to continue mocking her fashion choices online.
The drama has extended beyond the show, as Uorfi also finds herself at odds with Sufi’s friend and fellow contestant Apoorva Mukhija.
