The Legend Of Hanuman Season 4 review: The Ramayana, a timeless epic that everyone yearns to hear and know about, often leaves us disappointed with subpar animated adaptations or empty promises of upcoming projects. In an era where people are more inclined towards quick reels, maintaining their interest in a longer format has become challenging. However, 'The Legend Of Hanuman' offers something special, making it worth watching. 

Storyline

As the name suggests, this series focuses on the story of Hanuman. If there is Hanuman, Lord Ram will also be there, making it a retelling of the Ramayana from Hanuman’s perspective. The fourth season has just been released, introducing the entry of Kumbhakarna. This season explores how Kumbhakarna is defeated and sets the stage for the eventual downfall of Ravana. 

How is the series

The standout features of this series are its excellent voice-over and impressive animation. This type of animation not only appeals to children but also attracts viewers of all ages. Even today, when Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana airs on TV, it captivates everyone. This series is a fantastic way to introduce the epic to the new generation and children. The heavy dialogues are simplified for better understanding, making it accessible to all. Each episode is around 20 minutes long, making it easy to watch and enjoy. The series provides a delightful viewing experience, with animation that children will particularly enjoy. 

Voice over 

Even though it’s an animated series, voice over plays a crucial role. Lending your voice to animation is a fun yet challenging task, and the cast has done an excellent job. Sharad Kelkar, who voices Ravana, stands out as the series' highlight. His voice, already popular from his work in Baahubali, keeps you hooked. Damandeep Singh Baggan has done a splendid job voicing Hanuman. The rest of the characters are also well-voiced, adding depth to the series. 

Animation

The animation is created by Sharad Devarajan’s company, and he is also the show's creator. His company has done a remarkable job with the animation, ensuring that it respects the essence of the Ramayana. The quality of the animation is top-notch, and at no point does it feel like the characters of Ramayana have been disrespected. 

One issue with the fourth season is that only two episodes have been released so far, with new episodes coming out weekly. While the series manages to keep the audience interested, it remains to be seen if viewers will maintain their enthusiasm with only one episode releasing each week.
