The Great Indian Kapil Show's latest episode will feature Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and his wife Gia along with industry veterans Narayana and Sudha Murthy. In a new promo that has been doing the rounds on social media, we see Deepinder talk about his company Zomato's flirty notifications to customers.
We see Kapil show the audience and Deepinder a few examples of the flirty notifications and even Narayana Murthy looks amused. When Sharma asked Goyal if these messages were in reality meant for Gia and got posted on Zomato app by mistake, Goyal shared an amusing reply.
Deepinder confesses that when he sends something cheesy to his wife, he also gets ideas about making that a great notification too. He then explained that he had asked his team of young MBA types to develop a relationship with customers but didn't realise they would also take it so literally.
Fans of the food delivery app and the show loved the clip. "Zomato love is dangerous… it has set such a high bar that almost no man can compete with its caring quotient … I almost feel married to Zomato … latest one It hurts to see you sleep hungry…what do u want to have for dinner … and then over dessert when we can talk about sweet nothings,” someone wrote. Another commented, “I have the app only for the notifications,” said another.
