New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss OTT', a celebrity reality show, is creating headlines everyday thanks to controversies that are happening in the Bigg Boss house every day. The Salman Khan-hosted show is currently streaming on Jio Cinema. In the house on 'Bigg Boss OTT 2', which is all about entertainment and controversies, participants are trying their best to grab the audience's attention.
The digital reality show is a spin-off Hindi-language television series of the show 'Bigg Boss' which streams on TV. The first season of the OTT version was hosted by Karan Johar. 'Bigg Boss OTT Season 1' premiered on August 8, 2021.
Like the huge money prize on 'Bigg Boss' TV show, the 'Bigg Boss OTT' version winner received Rs. 25 lakhs and the OTT edition trophy. The show is a 24/7 non stop show and is also broadcasted daily on JioCinema for an hour like the original show.
The location of the 'Bigg Boss' OTT house, like the original house, is Film City, Mumbai as it is for the original series. The house contains a living area, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, garden, store, smoking room, underground jail, and a confession room where the inmates speak with Bigg Boss in private.
The theme of this year's show is #StayTogether as opposed to Season 1 whose theme was #Stay Connected.
This year the participants include Falaq Naaz, Jiya Shankar, YouTuber Fukra Insaan aka Abhishek Malhan, Mika Di Vohti winner Akanksha Puri, Cyrus Broacha, Puneet Superstar( who was eliminated), Jad Hadid, Aaliyah Siddiqui, Bebika Dhruve, Palak Purswani, Avinash Sachdev and Pooja Bhatt.
Among recent highlights of the show, Manisha Rani and Abhishek Malhan have entertained guests with their hilarious banter about college days, Akanksha Puri slammed makers for using the infamous 'kiss between Jad and herself' as promotion gimmicks after she was eliminated post the incident. Jad Hadid is still part of the show.
When You Come Out, You Emerge Stronger: Former Contestant Manu Punjabi
Cyrus Broacha just stated that he wanted to leave the Bigg Boss house during a recent show. Former 'Bigg Boss' participant Manu Punjabi has some advice for Cyrus.
“At Cyrus Broacha's age, it is important to prioritise health and family. He has also admitted to having less enthusiasm and energy than other contestants. When I was on ‘Bigg Boss’ and had health issues, I became very vulnerable and overwhelmed due to the cutoff from my loved ones,” Manu said.
“However, when you come out of it, you emerge stronger, as rightly said by Salman Khan. It is a great opportunity and platform to rebuild your image and personality in front of billions of viewers. I would really like to see Cyrus inside the house, and I want him to give his 100%," he added.

On Saturday night, Salman put was hosting the show wearing a faded blue shirt and dark jeans. Fans were interested in Salman's conversation with the contestants, but one sharp-eyed watcher realised he was smoking. A number of social media users quickly responded to the image when it was posted on Reddit.
Although he lectured Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid on their upbringing, family values, and culture after they kissed on television, many viewers saw it as hypocritical of him to hold a cigarette on screen.

Bigg Boss OTT 2 To Extend By Two Weeks
The second season of the famous reality show Bigg Boss OTT has been extended by two weeks, giving viewers more of what they love. He applauded the participants for keeping the crowd engaged and generating high ratings.
Cyrus Feels Depressed In The House, Wants To Quit
Last night, Cyrus Broacha begs Salman Khan to let him leave the show, stating he's had enough. He asked Salman Khan and the producers to release him from his contract. Cyrus expressed to Salman that he hasn't eaten in days, lost weight and can't sleep.
Before Salman confronted Cyrus, the producers showed many scenes in which Cyrus begged the other inmates to bring his attention to Bigg Boss. Broacha thought he was under contract for three weeks. Bigg Boss then called everyone into the living room and made it quite apparent that Cyrus, like everyone else, had signed the same contract and that no such clause was being made for an early exit. Since then, Broacha has been anxious to exit the show.
