New Delhi: Newly-weds Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul posed for a magazine's cover together. The two shared pictures from their first photoshoot of a leading fashion magazine on their respective social media handles. The magazine photoshoot happened a month before their wedding on January 23, allegedly. For their first magazine cover, the couple wore pajamas and bathrobes.
For Vogue India's February cover shoot, Kl Rahul wore black-and-red flannel bottoms with a gray bathrobe while Athiya wore green check pajamas with a white bathrobe. Athiya's look was perfectly complemented by KL Rahul's look for the magazine photoshoot. In the cover, we also see KL Rahul keep an arm around his now-wife Athiya.
Athiya and KL Rahul were recently married among friends and family in Suniel Shetty's Khandala house. The two had kept their relationship private after dating for many years until they went Instagram official last year. For their wedding ceremony, Athiya wore a baby pink lehenga while KL Rahul wore a white sherwani.
The couple has been sharing beautiful pictures from their dreamy wedding celebrations. On Tuesday, Athiya's brother Ahan also shared new pictures from the wedding. Ahan had walked his sister Athiya down the aisle during the wedding. In the caption, which he shared alongside his post, Ahan wrote, "I love you both so much. Wish you all the love and happiness together."
Taking to LinkedIn, Suniel Shetty penned a note for the newly-weds. "As parents we wish them the very best for their future together. I'm thrilled to see how complementary their personalities are." He had also stated that there were 'less than 100 guests and at no point did things seem like a strain', and added, "Hopefully, Ahan (Ahan Shetty, his son), Mana (Mana Shetty, his wife) and I did a good job hosting everyone."
