Vedaa trailer out: The trailer of John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s film was released on Thursday. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Vedaa is all set to hit the screens on August 15.  

John Abraham shared the trailer on his Instagram account with the caption, "Taiyaar ho jaiye, ek aisi jung ke liye, jo anyaay ko mitti mein milaayegi, aur Samvidhan ki raksha karegi! 💪 #Vedaa trailer out now! In cinemas this Independence Day in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu! 🇮🇳"

About Vedaa

‘Vedaa’ chronicles the journey of a young woman (Sharvari in titular role) who bravely challenges the status quo. Her quest for justice is propelled by the steadfast support of a former soldier (John Abraham) who becomes both her protector and her weapon.

John Abraham, known for his powerful and action-packed roles,  said, “I am excited to be part of a film like ‘Vedaa’. It’s a story that will resonate with audiences and inspire them to stand up for what is right.” 

Talking about his tenth film as a director Advani said, “I feel very strongly about presenting a film that entertains but also delivers a message, provokes a thought that stays with its audience for a long time after the film ends. I hope Vedaa is that film.” 

The film also features Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role. Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arrora, ‘Vedaa’ is presented by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment, an Emmay Entertainment production. 

Vedaa will clash with Shraddha Kapoor Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2, Akshay Kumar-starrer Khel Khel Mein and Chiyaan Vikram-starrer Thangalaan.
