Twitter User Requests Sonu Sood For iPhone For Girlfriend, Actor Responds With Witty Reply

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been actively using social media platforms to provide assistance to the people, who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The ‘Dabangg’ star received an unusual request from a man, who asked Sonu if he could help him in arranging an iPhone for his girlfriend. While others have been requesting the philanthropist for medical aid, the man’s request left the netizens in split.
Sonu chose not to ignore the tweet and responded to the Twitter user with a witty reply. “Uska toh pata nahi, agar iPhone diya toh par tera kuch nahi rahega (I don’t know about her but you won’t get anything if I get her an iPhone.)” Sood wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Sonu recently joined hands with a youth organisation to launch coaching scholarships for IAS aspirants. He revealed that he has received over 1 lakh registrations for his new initiative titled ‘Sambhavam’.
The ’Simmba’ star has promised to provide wings to the dream of the students, who wish to join the civil services. “We received 1 lakh + registrations for IAS Coaching Scholarships. Will make sure the deserving candidates get their due," he tweeted.

Sonu, who emerged as a messiah for the migrant workers during last year’s lockdown, has received praises from all corners for his humanitarian work. A young boy walked barefoot from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet the actor and express gratitude towards him. Sood shared a post for him, requesting his fans to not take troubles and instead stay at home to keep the virus at bay.
“Venkatesh, walked barefoot all the way from Hyd to Mumbai to meet me, despite me making efforts to arrange some sort of transportation for him. He is truly inspiring & has immensely humbled me. Ps. I, however, don’t want to encourage anyone to take the trouble of doing this,” he wrote.
Sonu, while talking to IANS, revealed that he would set up oxygen plants in over 16 states of India. He said that the O2 pants would be installed near the hospitals so that patients don’t face shortage of oxygen during crisis.
On the work front, Sonu will be next seen in 'Prithviraj', which also stars Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar.
