Earlier this week, Twinkle Khanna gave a shout-out to Vidya Balan and Hrithik Roshan for contributing towards COVID-19 relief work. She revealed that Hrithik helped the people in multiple ways amid the health crisis.

Mrs. Funny Bones also praised Vidya Balan for ‘quietly’ helping the needy people. She wrote, “Thank you @balanvidya ! A woman with immense talent and an even larger heart. For quietly helping those in need.”

Twinkle and her husband Akshay Kumar have been actively helping the people during the pandemic. The couple donated 100 oxygen concentrators to an organisation. Khanna revealed that the first lot of the concentrators were distributed to the needy in Delhi by Uday Foundation.

The actress-turned author also urged her followers to contribute their bit towards the COVID relief. Twinkle strongly reacted to a Twitter user, who accused her and Akshay of ‘not doing enough’ for the people during the pandemic.

She expressed her disappointment over people ‘pulling down’ others instead of ‘pitching in’ to tackle COVID-19. Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap supported Twinkle on social media.

Last month, Akshay Kumar had tested positive for COVID-19. The ‘Rustom’ actor was admitted to a hospital as a precautionary measure. Khiladi Kumar recently donated Rs 1 crore to Gautam Gambhir’s foundation to lend support to the fight against the virus.
