Twinkle Khanna Lauds Hrithik Roshan For Helping People Amid COVID-19 Crisis, Actor Says 'Proud Of The Work You're Doing'

Twinkle Khanna appreciated Hrithik Roshan and Vidya Balan for donating to COVID-19 relief and helping the people.

Mumbai: Twinkle Khanna took to social media to share an appreciation post for Hrithik Roshan for extending supporting to the people amid the COVID-19 crisis. Khanna lauded the ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ star for providing assistance in multiple ways in her Instagram post.  

Twinkle posted a picture of Hrithik, mentioning how he is contributing towards COVID-19 relief work. She wrote, “Going beyond help thy neighbour, mine is doing his bit during this crisis in multiple ways. A big shout-out @hrithikroshan.” 

The ‘War’ actor responded to Khanna’s post and thanked her for giving him a chance to help others. He commented, “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help. Proud of the work you are doing.” 

Twinkle had earlier thanked Vidya Balan for ‘quietly’ helping the people at a time when they need it the most. She wrote, “Thank you @balanvidya ! A woman with immense talent and an even larger heart. For quietly helping those in need. 

Twinkle and Akshay Kumar have been actively working to help the needy amid the pandemic. The couple donated 100 oxygen concentrators to support India’s fight against COVID-19. Mrs. Funny Bones shared a post to reveal that first lot of the oxygen concentrators were distributed in Delhi.

"Part of our first lot of oxygen concentrators has been picked up by @udayfoundation to be distributed in Delhi to those in need!," her post read.

Akshay also donated Rs 1 crore to Gautam Gambhir’s foundation to provide assistance to the people. Twinkle has been using social media platforms to encourage others to contribute their bit towards COVID relief.  

Talking about Hrithik Roshan, the actor will be next seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’. The action drama co-starring Deepika Padukone is slated to hit the silver screens in 2022. Hrithik and Deepika will be sharing screen-space for the first time.
