Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide: Disha Patani Shares Still From Their Film 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai on Sunday morning.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, considered as one of the bright stars of the young generation, committed suicide on Sunday (June 14). The news of his death has sent shockwaves across the industry. Several tinsel town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Raveena Tandon took to social media to mourn his demise. Sushant was known for his acting prowess and dance moves. The actor won several hearts with his performance as former Indian cricket team skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief over Sushant Singh Rajput's death. He tweeted,"Sushant Singh Rajput...a bright young actor gone too soon. He excelled on TV and in films. His rise in the world of entertainment inspired many and he leaves behind several memorable performances. Shocked by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and fans. Om Shanti."
The actor, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Kai Po Che', was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai. According to ABP News correspondent Ganesh Thakur, Sushant's friends were also present at his residence when he committed suicide. They broke open his room when the 'Pavitra Rishta' actor didn't respond. His upcoming film 'Dil Bechara' was slated to hit the silver screens on May 8 but it got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 'Dil Bechara' co-starring Sanjana Sanghi and Saif Ali Khan is the Hindi remake of 'Fault In Our Stars'.
