Delhi Elections: Kejriwal Writes To Mohan Bhagwat, Asks If RSS Backs BJP's 'Wrongdoings'

Ahead of Delhi elections, AAP chief Kejriwal accused BJP of vote deletion and bribery, questioning RSS's endorsement of these "wrongdoings."

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday and alleged deletion of votes and money distribution by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi.

The former Delhi Chief Minister raised several questions in his letter, ahead of the upcoming Delhi elections.

Kejriwal asked Bhagwat if the RSS endorses the "wrongdoings" committed by the BJP.

He further asked if the RSS supported money being openly distributed by the BJP leaders to buy votes and the "large-scale" deletion of Purvachali and Dalit votes by the saffron party.

The Aam Aadmi Party has alleged that the BJP is attempting to manipulate electoral rolls by filing a petition seeking to delete 5,000 votes and adding 7,500 votes.

It has also alleged that BJP leader Parvesh Verma has been distributing money to women and telling them to vote for lotus in the upcoming elections, the poll symbol of BJP.

Give Up Bad Habits Of Lying: BJP

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva also wrote a letter to Kejriwal on Wednesday asking him to give up his "bad habits of lying and cheating."

"All of us, since our childhood, take a resolution on New Year's Day to give up bad habits and do something good and new. Today, on the first day of New Year 2025, all the people of Delhi hope that you will bring about meaningful change in yourself by giving up your bad habits of lying and cheating," Sachdeva wrote in his letter.

He asked Kejriwal to take five resolutions including an apology from the people of Delhi for promoting liquor in the national capital. He also asked the AAP chief to stop making "false" promises and stop playing with the sentiments of women, the elderly, and religious people.

The BJP leader further suggested Kejriwal to stay away from "lies and deceit" by improving himself.
