Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Owners Reportedly Stuck In An Endless Reboot Loop
Many affected users have sought help at Samsung service centres, where they were informed that the issue might be linked to a damaged or defective motherboard.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones remain some of the best in the market despite being three years old. But, it seems that the smartphones have encountered a problem. A number of users have recently been reporting issues such as their device being stuck in a boot loop, leaving them with no other option than to restart it again and again. In recent weeks, numerous Galaxy S22 Ultra owners have taken to platforms like X, Facebook, Reddit, and Samsung's official forums to share their frustrations about this recurring problem.
Some users report their devices experiencing stutters, random crashes, or freezing, while others are completely unable to use their phones due to the constant rebooting. The issue appears to have surfaced following the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update, which was released in September last year.

According to a Sammobile report, many affected users have sought help at Samsung service centres, where they were informed that the issue might be linked to a damaged or defective motherboard. Unfortunately, since the Galaxy S22 Ultra is now out of warranty, users have had to pay significant amounts for repairs.
Is There A Fix?
Some users have reported a temporary workaround for the boot loop issue by placing their phones in the freezer for a few minutes. However, they noted that the problem resurfaced once the device heated up again. It’s important to highlight that this method is not advisable, as it could potentially harm the phone’s internal components.
For context, this isn’t the first time Galaxy S22 series owners have encountered similar issues. When Samsung initially rolled out the One UI 6.1 update last year, numerous users experienced problems with their devices failing to boot or unlock. This led Samsung to pause the update temporarily. As of now, Samsung has not officially acknowledged or commented on the current boot loop issue with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Users may have to wait for further updates to understand the root cause and potential solutions.
