Republic Day Parade 2025: How To Buy Tickets Online And Offline? Check Timing, Cost & Other Details

The Republic Day Parade will be held on January 26, while the full dress rehearsal of the Beating Retreat is scheduled for January 28 and the Beating Retreat ceremony on January 29. 

With less than a month remaining for the Republic Day, the Ministry of Defence has announced the details regarding the sale of tickets for the annual celebration at the India Gate. 

This day is celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm across the country. The Kartavya Path along the iconic India Gate witnesses beautiful parades of regiments from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Paramilitary forces. 

If you are planning to experience the magnificent Republic Day Parade this year, here's how you can book the tickets for the Republic Day Parade 2025 and Beating Retreat:

When To Buy Tickets

The Republic Day Parade will be held on January 26, while the full dress rehearsal of the Beating Retreat is scheduled for January 28 and the Beating Retreat ceremony on January 29. 

The sale of tickets for the three events will begin from January 2 and continue till January 11. While the sale of tickets will begin at 9 am on January 2, it will continue till the quota for the day is exhausted.

Cost of Republic Day Tickets

The Republic Day Parade tickets are available for Rs 100 and Rs 20. The tickets for the for Beating Retreat ceremony are Rs 100. 

The ticket for the full dress rehearsal of the Beating Retreat is available for Rs 20. 

How To Buy Tickets?

The tickets for the three events can be purchased from the Ministry of Defence website: aamantran.mod.gov.in. It can also be booked from the ‘Aamantran’ mobile app. 

An applicant needs a mobile phone to validate their identity before booking the tickets. Around 2,200 tickets are available on a daily basis which can be booked after logging into the MOD website. 

The tickets can also be purchased from the booths and counters from the following locations:

- Sena Bhawan (Gate No 2)          

- Shastri Bhawan (Near Gate No 3)

- Jantar Mantar (Near Main Gate)

- Pragati Maidan (Gate No 1)

- Rajiv Chowk Metro Station (Gate No 7 & 8)

The tickets can be purchased from the counters on the production of an original photo ID Card, like an Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport and ID Card issued by Central or State government. 

The tickets can be purchased from the aforementioned counters from January 2 to January 11, from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
