New Delhi: The unfortunate death of Sushant Singh Rajput left the whole in shock. The actor was allegedly found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14. His death left a huge outcry among his fans for his justice as they sensed some foul play in the matter and demanded a CBI investigation in the case. Finally, after his father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and others at Patna Police Station, the case was then transferred to CBI for investigation. As the case started unfolding, two other central agencies also roped in and commenced their probe on the case. As the investigation remains underway, the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s family is waiting for the AIIMS report to come. Now, as the meeting between CBI and the AIIMS forensic team was postponed, the late actor’s family lawyer said he is ‘getting frustrated by the delay’. He further claimed that the doctor who is also a part of the AIIMS team had indicated him long back that the actor died by ‘strangulation’ and not ‘suicide’ after Vikas Singh sent him the photos. Vikas Singh took to his Twitter and wrote, “Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR. The Doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide.”
Also, recently, based on a report by Times Now, SSR was trying to get in touch with Rhea Chakraborty who had blocked his calls after she left him. Sushant then reached out to his sister Meetu Singh and even made a distress call to her on June 9 claiming ‘Mujhe darr lag raha hai, mujhe maar denge (I am scared, I will be killed)’. The NCB has arrested Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Sushant Singh Rajput’s personal staff Dipesh Sawant and 16 others in connection to the ‘drug angle’ in the death case of SSR. The agency has also summoned Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor and has asked them to appear for questioning on September 26. Meanwhile, actress Rakul Preet Singh has already reached the NCB’s office in Mumbai for her interrogation.
