New Delhi: Taapsee Pannu starrer 'Rashmi Rocket' has been making waves ever since the first look of the actress was unveiled. The 'Pink' actress will be seen essaying the role of an athlete in the upcoming film. Taapsee, who has emerged as one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood, will be seen sharing screen-space with Supriya Pathak in 'Rashmi Rocket'. The makers of the flick have shared the first look of Pathak on her birthday (January 7) on social media.

Surpriya, who is known for her power-packed performance, can be seen giving a head massage to Taapsee in the first look poster of 'Rashmi Rocket. The on-screen mother-daughter duo was all smiles in the photo. The caption for the post read, "Maa ke haath = BEST champi ever! Presenting the first look of #SupriyaPathak from #RashmiRocket on her birthday." The makers have managed to keep the details about the film under wraps.

Last month, Taapsee shared her look from 'Rashmi Rocket' on her official Instagram handle. She wrote, "Half way through the finish mark. From running legs to shake a leg...Roll the music and ......Halo Garbo Karva." The 'Mission Mangal' actress has given her 'heart, soul and blood' to the project as she will be seen playing the role of a Kutch-based sprinter.

Taapsee To Commence Shoot Of Final Schedule Soon

According to a report in a leading daily, the makers have planned to shoot the last schedule of 'Rashmi Rocket' next week n Gujarat. They have taken necessary permission from the state government for the film's shoot. The team will head to Gujarat for a 14-day schedule, the report in Mid-Day said. The cast and crew of 'Rashmi Rocket' commenced the shoot in November 2020 in Ranchi. The sports drama, which is being directed by Akarsh Khurana, will also feature Abhishek Banerjee and Priyanshu Painyuli. The movie has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya. The producers are yet to announce the release date. Talking about Taapsee Pannu, the actress was last seen in Anubhav Sinha's 'Thapaad'. She also has 'Haseen Dillruba' and 'Looop Lapeta' in pipeline. Stay tuned for more updates!
