Prateik Babbar Makes His Relationship With Actor Priya Banerjee Official

New Delhi: On Valentine's Day, actor Prateik Babbar finally made his relationship public. Actor Priya Banerjee and he have reportedly been dating. On Tuesday, Prateik posted their first Instagram picture, showing off their matching tattoos. Prateik and Priya were seen in the picture posing with their backs to the camera in the sunshine at an unidentified place.

The following picture shows a close-up of their matching 'P and B' tattoos, which Prateik had inscribed on his fingers and Priya had inked close to her collarbone.

Sharing the photo, Prateik wrote, “p b” with an infinity sign emoji.

Priya Banerjee also took to her Instagram handle to share the same pictures. 

Over the past year, there have been rumours about Prateik and Priya's relationship. The two, though, didn't accept or reject them. Prior to this, Sanya Sagar and Prateik were married. After being married on January 23, 2019, they apparently split up during the lockdown.

Prateik Babbar is the son of veteran actors Raj Babbar and Smita Patil. He made his acting debut in Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza's 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na' (2008), an Aamir Khan production. Prateik's most recent appearance was in the movie Indian Lockdown by Madhur Bhandarkar. He portrayed a migrant worker in the movie who was affected by the COVID-19 lockdown in India.

“I was also extremely invested because the first time I met Madhur sir, he said, ‘Prateik teri maa aise kirdaar nibhaati thi. Tu agar ye jee-jaan se karega to ye tribute ho sakta hai Smita Patil ko (Your mother used to play such roles. If you do it with full honesty, it can be a tribute to Smita Patil)’. And I just said, when do we start? Every single day on set, I used to think about her," he said while talking about his role.

On the other hand, Priya made her Bollywood debut as Sia in Aishwarya Rai's 'Jazbaa' (2015).
