Panipat: Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon begin a 'journey like never before'!

New Delhi: The cast and crew of 'Panipat' on Friday kick started the shooting of the much-anticipated period drama. Actors Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, took to their respective social media handles to share their enthusiasm on beginning the "new chapter." In his post, the 'Namaste England' star expressed his excitement on getting a chance to work with Ashutosh Gowariker and others in the flick. Also starring Sanjay Dutt, 'Panipat' is based on the 'Third Battle of Panipat' fought between the Maratha Empire lead by Sadashiv Rao Bhau and invading forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali, King of Afghanistan, on the big screen. The film's tagline reads 'The Great Betrayal', and it is scheduled for a December 6, 2019 release. (ANI)
