Malayalam Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran Tests Negative For Coronavirus, Shares His Medical Report

Prithviraj Sukumaran was stranded at a desert camp in Jordan since March 12 due to COVID-19 crisis. He returned to India last month and immediately went into quarantine.

New Delhi: Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who returned to India from Jordan on May 22, recently got himself tested for Coronavirus. He took to Instagram to share the results of his test reports. The 'Aiyyaa' actor had completed seven days of 'institutional quarantine' after returning to Kochi in an Air India special flight from Jordan. "Did a COVID-19 test and the results are negative. Will still be completing quarantine before returning home. Stay safe and take care all," Prithiviraj wrote while sharing his test results.  The picture showed that his samples were taken through a nasal swab. The actor said that he will follow the 14-day quarantine rule before returning to his home. Check out his post!
Prithviraj, who was shooting for his upcoming film ‘Aadujeevitham’, was stranded along with the movie’s crew at a desert camp in Jordan since March 12 due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The film, which is being directed by Blessy, is based on the novel of the same name by Benyamin. The ‘Ezra’ actor returned to India last month and immediately went into a 14-day quarantine. On May 29, the ‘Brother’s Day’ star informed his fans that he had completed his seven days of ‘institutional quarantine’. He wrote, "My 7 days of institutional quarantine ends today. Now off to the next 7 days of home quarantine. A huge thanks to @oldharbourhotel and its extremely well trained staff for the hospitality and care. PS: To all those who are going to or already in home quarantine, remember..going home doesn’t mean the end of your quarantine period. Do abide strictly by all quarantine regulations and make sure no person belonging to the high risk population group as stipulated by the authorities is at home." The actor can be see sporting a mask in the picture.
On the professional front, Prithiviraj Sukumaran was last seen in Sachy’s ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. The film co-starring Biju Menon and Anna Rajan managed to set the cash registers jingling. Bollywood actor John Abraham will be producing the remake of 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'. The Malayalam action thriller focused  on the conflict between an influential and rich ex-Havildar and a sub-inspector in Attappadi.
