'Mahavatar Narsimha' Teaser Out: The animated film tells the story of faith and hope through Bhakt Prahlad and is set to hit cinemas on April 3.
New Delhi: Makers have officially launched the highly anticipated teaser for ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’, an animated series that promises to bring the timeless epic of faith and devotion from Indian puranas to the big screen. At the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ was praised for its innovative graphics and uplifting plot.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar, ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ delves into the story of Bhakt Prahlad’s unwavering faith and the descent of Lord Vishnu in the form of Narsimha to vanquish evil and restore hope for humanity. “This is a story that truly deserves to be told,” said the makers, who chose animation as the ideal medium to bring this epic tale to life, offering boundless opportunities to depict the vibrancy and scale of the narrative.

The official logline of the film reads, "When Faith is Challenged, He Appears. In a World torn apart by Darkness and Chaos. Witness the Appearance of the most Ferocious, The Half-Man, Half-Lion Avatar-Lord Vishnu's Most Powerful Incarnation. Unleash the Fury Witness the Roar of Mahavatar Narsimha. Mahavatar Narasimha is an epic that brings to life the legendary tale of Lord Narasimha. Experience the Epic Battle between Good and Evil in 3D Animation."
This will be Hombale Films' second venture into exploring lesser-known aspects of Indian culture, after the success of ‘Kantara’.

Produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Kleem Productions, ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ will be released in 3D and in five Indian languages, ensuring that its cultural and cinematic grandeur reaches a wide audience.
The excitement surrounding the project has only intensified with the release of the teaser. ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ is set for a global premiere on April 3 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
