Indian cricketer Rinku Singh, and Priya Saroj are set to get engaged at THIS location. Read below for full details.

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh's marriage rumours now witnesses a fresh air of confirmed information, as the Kolkata Knight Riders star is set to get engaged with Samajwadi Party politician — Priya Saroj.

The left-handed batsman, who hails from Alibagh, is set to marry the politician, after families of both the sides expressed their delight upon fixing the engagement.

The engagement will take place in Lucknow, and the official confirmation of the decision has been made by Toofani Saroj (father of Priya Saroj) via an exclusive telephonic conversation with ABP News.

"We are happy with the decision. In fact, both the families are happy. Rinku and Priya like each other. Rinku Singh is a superb cricketer, and I wish that he may attain greater heights in his career, and even my own daughter is making her name in the politics. Akhilesh Ji is also impressed by her work," said Toofani Saroj.

"The engagement will take place once the Budget session gets over in the Parliament," he added.

No Rinku Singh In Champions Trophy 2025 Squad!

Inspite of a sensational 2023 where Rinku Singh created havoc with the bat, it seemed pretty evident that India have discovered a highly reliable batsman in the middle order.

Even during the 5-match T20I series against Australia, followed by a 3-match T20I series against Afghnaistan, Rinku Singh was superb, and delivered few brilliant match-winning knocks.

However, the UP-based cricketer found limited opportunities in 2024, and was a part of the Reserve squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, which India won.

As the squad has been announced for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the BCCI have 'potentially' given a clear message to Rinku Singh that they eye him as a T20I option, and that, there is still room for improvement in the 50-over format.

India will be playing against Pakistan for their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 opener on Sunday, February 23.
