'KGF: Chapter 2' Shoot Resumes; Makers Unveil Actor Prakash Raj's Captivating Look From Sets

Directed by Prashanth Neel 'KGF: Chapter 2' starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, will release worldwide in multiple languages on October 23.

New Delhi: After treating the ardent fans with the exciting poster of Sanjay Dutt’s Adheera few days back, now the makers of upcoming action-thriller 'KGF Chapter 2' have made the audience go gaga over the first look of veteran Prakash Raj. ALSO READ | ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ Makers Surprise Sanjay Dutt On 61st Birthday By Unveiling Character Poster The shooting of the highly anticipated film which was halted due to the imposed lockdown, has reportedly resumed and the fans of Yash are all joyous to see the exciting pictures from the sets. Director Prashanth Neel and Prakash Raj himself shared a few stills from the set, unveiling the first look of the 'Singham' actor. In the shared photographs, Raj, in a captivating avatar with white stubble and an earnest look, is seen surrounded by a lot of files; giving the impression that he’ll be playing the role of some government official.
'KGF: Chapter 2' will mark Dutt's foray into South Indian cinema. He will be reportedly seen playing the antagonist in the movie. Starring Yash in the lead, the first part's narrative follows an underdog who later becomes a dangerous gangster. The upcoming sequel is said to follow the power struggle between Rocky (Yash) and Adheera (Sanjay). ALSO READ | 'KGF' actor Yash & wife Radhika Pandit expecting their second child! Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film will also feature Srinidhi Shetty in a lead role.  Produced by Hombale Films, "KGF: Chapter 2" will release worldwide in multiple languages namely Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi on October 23. The film is a follow-up of the Kannada blockbuster "KGF: Chapter 1", which starred Kannada star Yash with Tamannaah Bhatia and Ananth Nag. The first installment of the film was also directed by Neel.
